Hike to Donut's Falls

Hey everyone,
My name is Duy, I just started this blog to talk about all the places that I've been to. I love to travel around whenever I can and try out new foods that I haven't seen before and take pictures of all the beautiful landscapes. Here is a picture of me hiking up the Donut's Falls at Cottonwood Canyon. I'm originally from Vietnam, moved to the United States  in 2004 when I was eight and lived in Utah since then.
I love to hike, especially hiking in Utah. There are many beautiful trails within 30 minutes of driving.

This is one of the most popular hikes in the Salt Lake area. It provides access to a unique waterfall where Big Cottonwood Creek gushes through a donut-shaped hole in the mountainside. The forested trail is well marked. The trailhead is in Big Cottonwood Canyon near the Jordan Pines picnic area.
Most people hike here during summer and fall. Autumn colors are spectacular. This has also become a popular winter snowshoe hike.

Direction:
Drive about 9 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon, to the signed Mill D Trailhead. If you come during the busy season you may need to park here; parking is limited at the smaller, Donut Falls Trailhead just up the road. From the Mill D Trailhead, drive or hike up the paved, gated Mill D South Fork Road, past the Jordan Pines picnic area. You'll pass summer homes. This road is usually plowed during winter months.

Length: Up to 3.5 miles out and back
Difficulty: Moderate
